The short version
NurseReview PH is a review app for the Philippine Nurse Licensure Examination (PNLE). You can use most of it without an account, and we do not sell your data, show third-party ads, or track you across other apps and websites.
If you create an account, we store your name, email, and study progress so your review can follow you across devices.
Who we are
NurseReview PH ("we", "us") publishes the NurseReview PH mobile app. For any privacy question, or to request deletion of your data, contact us at jayson.tamayo2@gmail.com.
Using the app without an account
You can browse the app and answer practice questions as a guest. In guest mode:
- The question bank is stored on your device, so practising works offline.
- Your answers, your diagnostic result, and any bookmarks stay on your device only. We do not receive them.
- We do not create an account or profile for you.
Because guest data is local, uninstalling the app deletes it, and it does not transfer to a new device.
What we collect when you create an account

We do not collect your location, contacts, photos, health records, or advertising identifiers. We do not ask for information about real patients, and you should never enter any.
Where your data is stored
Account data is stored with Google Firebase (Firebase Authentication and Cloud Firestore), which acts as our data processor. Our Firestore database is hosted in the asia-southeast1 region (Singapore). Firebase's handling of data is described in Firebase's privacy documentation.
Security rules restrict every stored document so that it can only be read or written by the signed-in account that owns it.
Subscriptions and purchases
NurseReview Premium is sold through the Apple App Store on iPhone and through Google Play on Android. Apple or Google processes the payment; we never see your card or billing details.
We use RevenueCat to confirm purchases and to know which features your subscription unlocks. RevenueCat receives your App Store or Google Play purchase receipt and an app user identifier: your NurseReview PH account ID if you are signed in, or a random anonymous ID if you are a guest. It does not receive your name, email, or study data. RevenueCat's handling of data is described in its privacy policy.
You can manage or cancel a subscription in your App Store account settings or in Google Play → Payments & subscriptions, or from Account → Premium in the app. Deleting your NurseReview PH account does not cancel a store subscription.
Notifications
If you turn on the Daily Study Reminder, the reminder is scheduled locally on your device. The reminder time is stored on your device and is not sent to us. You can turn reminders off at any time in the app, or revoke notification permission in your device settings.
How long we keep data
We keep account data for as long as your account exists. If you ask us to delete your account, we delete your profile, your attempt history, and your study plans. Guest data is never sent to us, so there is nothing for us to delete.
Your choices
- Use the app anonymously — stay in guest mode.
- Access or correct your data — edit your profile and goals in the app, or email us.
- Delete your account and data — see how to delete your account. In the app, go to Account → Delete Account. This permanently deletes your account, profile, attempt history, and study plans. You can also email jayson.tamayo2@gmail.com from your account's email address and we will delete it for you.
If you are in the Philippines, the Data Privacy Act of 2012 (RA 10173) gives you rights over your personal information, including the rights to be informed, to access, to correct, and to erasure or blocking. You may also complain to the National Privacy Commission.
Children
NurseReview PH is intended for nursing students and graduates preparing for a professional licensure examination. It is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect their data.
Changes
If this policy changes in a way that affects you, we will update the date at the top of this page and, where the change is significant, tell you in the app.
